Without clear lob responsibility and a switch call, the net player strains to retreat while the baseline player follows to the same side, creating a collision risk.
Try these steps in order
- If the net player cannot hit a controlled overhead, call "Switch!" immediately.
- The partner on the opposite side moves diagonally back to play the ball.
- The net player rotates toward the opposite baseline to complete the new left-right alignment.
