Scope and selection rules

Only records marked Completed with both rankings available qualify. The recorded winner must have a larger rank number than the opponent; the difference must meet the selected minimum. The opponent's rank must also fall within the selected limit.

These ranks were recorded at the start of the tournament, not immediately before the match or today. A ranking gap is a difference in positions, not a win probability or a measure of how many times stronger a player is.

Retired, Walkover, Awarded, other result statuses and records missing either ranking are excluded. ATP and WTA are considered separately. This does not change the historical archive, head-to-head records or serve statistics.

Dates are the source's match dates, without a time or time zone. Date filters include both endpoints. Same-day rows are not ordered by finishing time.

Tennis-Data supplies weekly files. This is a collected sample that may be corrected or incomplete, not a live list of today's upsets. Names retain the source's abbreviated spelling.

Set games are shown from the recorded winner's perspective only when you reveal the score. Missing values stay as a dash; tie-break points are not supplied.
