Marc Polmans and Jan Zielinski upset Shanghai’s fifth seeds in a 12–10 Match Tiebreak. The tournament’s doubles report through October 16 recorded their October 13, 2026 win over Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool as 7–6(3), 4–6, 12–10.

The deciding Match Tiebreak passed through 8–8, 9–9 and 10–10. At each tie, two consecutive lost points could have ended the match; Polmans and Zielinski instead won the last two. They took both the opening-set tiebreak and the match decider.
