Kamilla Rakhimova and Tatiana Prozorova met again in the Ningbo qualifying final two years after their previous meeting there, with Rakhimova winning again. The eighth qualifying seed prevailed 7-6(4), 4-6, 6-4 on October 18, 2026 to reach the WTA 500 main draw.
Tennis.com lists their earlier meeting on October 12, 2024 in the same round. Rakhimova came back 4-6, 7-6(1), 6-0 that day. This time she won the opening tiebreak, lost set two and took the decider.
In the 2026 match, each created twenty break chances and converted eight. Each also held eight of sixteen service games. Adding the tiebreak gave Rakhimova seventeen games overall to Prozorova’s sixteen.
Rakhimova won 46 of 78 first-serve points, against Prozorova’s 55 of 101. Despite seven double faults, she saved twelve of twenty break points and secured her main-draw place.
