Maria Sakkari held seventeen of nineteen service games across her first two matches at the Singapore WTA 500. The seventh seed beat Linda Fruhvirtova 6-4, 6-1 on September 22, 2026, then qualifier Nao Hibino 7-5, 6-1 on September 24 to reach the quarterfinals.

The return opportunities differed. Sakkari converted four of six break points against Fruhvirtova and four of eleven against Hibino. Achieving the same four breaks required five more opportunities in the second match.

On her own serve, Sakkari saved three of four break points in each match. She held eight of nine service games in the opener and nine of ten in the second round, allowing each opponent a single break.

Her ace and double-fault totals changed: three aces and no double faults in the opener became nine aces and four double faults against Hibino. The greater ace count still came with the same one service game lost.
