Sherif broke twice more to lead 4–0 in the second. The WTA counted this as her 15th consecutive clay-court win, following WTA 125 titles in Brescia and Contrexeville.

Her first tour title came on clay in Parma in 2022. Badosa also entered the final on a winning streak: nine matches, including the Bastad WTA 125 title. Sherif emerged from that meeting of streaks with her first tour trophy in four years.
