Carlos Alcaraz is returning to Vienna after five years. The tournament’s October 15, 2026 announcement schedules his opener for Tuesday, October 27 on Centre Court at Wiener Stadthalle, following an October 24 arrival.

Tournament director Herwig Straka said he contacted Alcaraz’s management after learning that the Six Kings Slam was moving to late December. That opened the route to the Vienna appearance.
