DYNAWIRE has a nylon core. Yonex’s official specifications checked October 19, 2026 list nylon monofilament with metal film. In the same table, REXIS COMFORT is listed as nylon multifilament with FORTIMO.

Tennis Warehouse describes a thin metallic film surrounding DYNAWIRE’s high-polymer nylon core, plus a coating treatment intended to assist string return. Its construction category remains nylon monofilament despite the prominent reference to metal.

Both products offer 16L / 1.25 mm and 16 / 1.30 mm in the official table. The DYNAWIRE 16 retail page lists a 12 m set and describes that version’s colour as white with silver coils.

A player comparing solid-core and multifilament nylon constructions can choose the same nominal gauge in both. Keep model, gauge, installation tension and playing time in the record, then compare feel and wear under the same conditions at the next replacement.
