Mayar Sherif won her ninth WTA 125 title on clay in Brescia. According to the WTA’s June 22, 2026 rankings report, she dropped only one set throughout the tournament.

It was her first WTA 125 title since Parma in May 2025. Her separate Parma trophy from 2022 was at tour level: the total of nine refers specifically to WTA 125 titles, not a combined count of both levels.

The June 22 update moved Sherif up 17 places to No. 110. Runner-up Wang Xiyu rose 15 places to No. 86. Their different starting positions meant that reaching the same final led to different ranking positions.

Wang’s season record stood at 31–5, and she had reached the Roland-Garros fourth round. Brescia added a runner-up finish to that run; the ranking positions and record belong to the WTA’s June 22 snapshot.
