Clara Tauson has ended her 2026 tournament season. Pulsnyt’s October 14 report carrying Ritzau’s account says she will take the recovery time she needs and focus on rehabilitation and physical training.

Her final appearance came in Wuhan’s first round on October 12. TennisActu reports that she retired against Marie Bouzkova at 1-6, 0-2 after treatment to her left calf.

Tauson said too few weeks had allowed her to play as she wanted. She also planned a sustained holiday, explaining that she had gone ten years without one.

The decision allocates the remaining autumn to recovery and preparation. Ritzau describes rehabilitation and conditioning; TennisActu reports her aim of returning in 2027.
