Alina Charaeva, who beat World No. 1 Elena Rybakina in Beijing, appeared in the entry preview for the Wrexham W100. The LTA’s October 14, 2026 announcement also named Greet Minnen, Lucia Bronzetti and Linda Fruhvirtova among the expected international entrants.
The event uses the indoor courts at Wrexham Tennis and Padel Centre in North Wales. Qualifying is scheduled for October 18–19, followed by the main draw from October 20 and finals on October 25. This is Wrexham’s second edition after replacing the former Shrewsbury W100.

Alicia Dudeney, Hannah Klugman and Daniella Britton received British main-draw wild cards. Dudeney had won five ITF titles in 2026, the largest at the Nottingham W50. Klugman took her first professional title at the Leiria W50 in September.
Britton, 15, won both the British under-16 and under-18 national titles in April. Wrexham was set to be only her sixth professional-level event, placing a newcomer to that level in the same indoor field as a recent Beijing breakthrough player.
