Elina Svitolina has secured the seventh singles place at the 2026 WTA Finals. The WTA’s October 17 announcement confirms her first appearance since 2019 and fourth overall, leaving one of eight singles places available.
Svitolina won the WTA 250 in Auckland and the WTA 1000 in Rome this season, and reached the Dubai WTA 1000 final. Those two titles took her career total to 20. She won the Finals unbeaten in 2018 and was runner-up in 2019.
She joins Elena Rybakina, Aryna Sabalenka, Mirra Andreeva, Linda Noskova, Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula. Her qualification fills one of the two places still open when Gauff and Pegula were announced on October 14.
The event runs November 8–15 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in California. Eight singles players and eight doubles teams compete, beginning with a round-robin phase.
