Toroline CAVIAR is sold in 1.16, 1.20 and 1.24 mm. The product page checked on October 18, 2026 pairs those sizes with 18, 17 and 16L gauge respectively and describes a six-sided co-polyester construction.

The manufacturer’s FAQ lists the three diameters separately in its stiffness ordering. From softer to stiffer, CAVIAR 1.16 appears before 1.20 and then 1.24, with other products between them.

That is Toroline’s relative ordering within its own range. A recommendation for CAVIAR becomes specific when the diameter is included: 18/1.16, 17/1.20 or 16L/1.24.

Record the product name, diameter and main-or-cross placement with the order. Toroline asks for the current string setup, racquet, tension and desired changes when advising on hybrids; those details describe the actual combination being used.
