MSV describes Focus Hex Plus 25 as 25% more elastic than the original Focus Hex. On the manufacturer’s page reviewed on October 19, 2026, that percentage refers to elasticity compared with the base model.

The actual diameters are 1.20, 1.25 and 1.30mm. Record the full Plus 25 name alongside the diameter when ordering: 1.25mm is one of three options. The listed colours are black and white.

MSV highlights a hexagonal profile and snapback as features aimed at spin. The page gives no tensile load or test procedure alongside its 25% elasticity claim.

Packaging options are a 12m set and a 200m reel. For a first change, check the length your racquet requires and start with a small pack. Keep the diameter and setup comparable, then record shot depth, feel and playing hours before deciding on a reel.
