Both octagonal: RPM Team and Rough differ in density and surface design

Babolat’s October 19, 2026 pages describe low-density co-polyester for Team and a rough, high-density construction for Rough. Both listed sets are French-made 12 m monofilaments.

RPM Team and RPM Rough are both octagonal co-polyester strings. Babolat’s descriptions checked October 19, 2026 emphasise Team’s internal low-density construction and Rough’s textured, high-density co-polyester surface.

Babolat presents Team’s construction as a route to a softer response, while Rough’s texture is described as a spin feature. The comparison therefore includes both internal construction and surface treatment alongside the shared octagonal profile.

Both products are classified as polyester monofilaments with co-polyester composition. Each listed set is 12 m and made in France.

Retain Team or Rough on the work order. For a comparison in one racquet, choose the same nominal gauge and installation tension, then record product and installation date to identify when the construction changed.
